The small hamlet, the last inhabited center of the Val Nervia, is planned in the mountainous part of the valley, at the foot of the Toraggio, Tenarda, Grigio and Pietravecchia mountains, a splendid mountain complex of the westernmost Maritime Alps.
The village is crossed by the Nervia stream which originates from the slopes of Pietravecchia and in the initial part is called Torrentino delle Tane and from the small rio Lepre, a tributary of the Nervia.
